Cate is a UK-based presenter, producer and voiceover artist with a background in journalism and a focus on clear, thoughtful storytelling. Her work spans broadcast, audio production, and lived-experience content with an emphasis on human connection, clarity and editorial discipline.
She is the creator and host of Shoulder to Shoulder, a podcast made in partnership with With-you, a UK peer-support consultancy. The series explores recovery through the lens of peer support, drawing on real experiences told plainly and with care. It includes guests a diverse range of backgrounds and boasts a listenership in more than 20 countries.
Cate began her career in regional journalism before moving into communications with Royal Haskoning DHV in the Netherlands. She has also presented on both community and national radio, and continues to work across commercial voiceover and peer-support facilitation.
A graduate of Northumbria University with a degree in Expressive Arts and Education, Cate brings insight, warmth, and rigour to every project. She remains open to new opportunities in broadcasting, podcast development, and mission-led storytelling.
